Urban Decay Electric review and eye makeup looks

Did I just blind you with my eye makeup ? This is what happen when you let me near the Urban Decay Electric Palette. The colors are bold and loud ; just how I like it. I think neutral makeup is boring and would love to wear colorful look everyday. My mom absolutely hates bright color and she has her ways to make sure I don't wear that rainbow and unicorn look all the time. sigh... Asian mom always wins. As soon as UD came up with Electric Palette, I grabbed one because those beauty gurus in Youtube are ranting about it.

Yes, every pot of color is so pigmented, hugeee , and very bright. Having said that, I think they are chalky. I know I know, I want to love it too, but that's just how I genuinely feel about them. I have used Sugarpill eyeshadows and Yaby eyeshadows. So when Urban Decay comes up with this palette, I think I have very high expectation and Electric Palette just doesn't meet my expectation. So, they are good, but not as good as I expect them to be. For those you keep saying this is the most pigmented , easy to blend etc., I doubt whether they've tried other great brands (even indie brands). Well may be they are sponsored. :( you know Youtube world nowadays.

1. They are chalky. 2. The color are hard to blend when I use them wet. 3. The color is patchy (esp for people with hooded lids like me T_T) { 4. How i wish it has that bright and beautiful yellow .} Sugarpiill , inglot , yaby perform much better because of the 3 main reasons that I've mentioned. However, i think it is economical and in trend to own 10 colors at a reasonable price.

I haven't fixed my brows, added eyeliner,& mascara. Just too eager to take photo i guess . :D I will add in more look when I found the harddisk that I kept my old photos. Thank you for reading.

Stila stay all day liquid lipstick review and swatches

I am always broke. Yet I don't know where the money come from as I realized I have 5 Stila liquid lipsticks. 5 is a lot considering how broke I am all the time. I was very much in love with them last year and these lipsticks are the reason why I become a fan of the brand Stila. But I quickly get over with it coz I soon realized I don't really like other products from the brand. Thou I never update review here, my Facebook is flourishing with continuous reviews and rants. Here are a few photos of Stila stay all day liquid lipsticks and how I feel about them.

Stila is a very reputable brand that once was like Benefit and Too faced with their cute paperbox packaging and all that girly stuffs. However, the brand revamped their whole image and everything becomes the Stila that we know now. They whipped out many products during the last couple of years but I hardly like any, with the exception of their liquid lipsticks. Here is the photo of the LL.

(i do not own this photo) So, the colors are all wearable everyday color from nude to daring red and I own 5 of them.

My lips have volume and they are extremely dry as I am always dehydrated reason obviously being my laziness to get a bottle of water even when I am thirsty. So I dehydrate myself almost always. Good job. So most lipsticks turn out to be pretty scary (literally) on my lips even thou they claim to be moisturizing. All nyx and most Korean drug store lipsticks are major chaos and scare the daylight out of everyone I meet. So matte lipsticks are a bit of a challenge. But Stila does a good job and they look very pretty.

First, lets have a quick look of the Ballissima, pinkish nude color and the lightest among all lipsticks.

WTF. I don't know what's going on in my head when I posted that photo but I have since then deleted the rest of the photos. So here is me acting cute with that nude lips. It ain't cute. Failure in life. My favourite pinkish nude of all time. I have please me by mac matte which is more pink than this once. But this color is just so unique and looks good in person.


This is the second one, which is a beautiful and bright purplish pink. Fiore by Stila.

This is one of my favorite color of all time. Patima by Stila.

Very pretty Kylie Jenner kind of color which is great for all occasions. My go to color.

The follow is that shade of red that all of us need. Tesoro by Stila.

This red is sooo pretty, and I would say it is in between Retrofuturist from Lime Crime and Ruby Woo by Mac. This is just unique.

Last but not least is the Fiery.... that gorgeous deep red. Photo doesn't do justice and I just can't capture the true color. It is red with purple undertone. Crimson kind of color.

If it reminds you of your Diva by Mac, it will be too dark actually. This is crimson and Diva is dark red with brown undertone. :D


The downside..... well this is a little bit sticky and not that long lasting especially around the inner lips . Its weird as the rest of the lips is intact and you have to retouch that innermost part only. It may b me and my binge eating. Overall, i think you should definitely try out one of these. You can get it at Sephora and Stila is everywhere on the online store as well. Don't forget to use makeup remover when you get rid of your makeup coz these guys just won't get off your lips willingly. :D And thank you for reading.

Morange: Wash & Dry Collection 2015 by Mac review

So you guys remember Alluring Aquatic collection last year right? When I was planning my trip to Maldives, I kept thinking about it. And the next thing I know is the Wash and Dry Collection and I was so hype about it. It sucks actually that my country (Myanmar) doesn't have a Mac Store yet. Yes , I know how sad life is here. So the first thing I did when I arrived Singapore Changi airport is trying Wash and Dry collection at the duty free Mac counter. They told me they are selling weekly items and stuff.. but basically , they don't have the whole entire collection and hence i can only choose from the handful that they have in stock. So I grabbed a few pieces and the first one is the lipstick called #Morange.


Its a beautiful beautiful bright orange with a bit of reddish tone to it. Here is what it looks like ..

I was having a good time at the beach, wasn't I? :D It was during one of my early morning walk down the sandbank. So beautiful.

The color is so strikingly beautiful. Fun, upbeat, exciting and energetic... that color that inspires you to have fun and have a good day.

The packating is absolutely mystyle. Very bright and colorful just how i like it.

As you may now notice, as an Asian girl, my lips are absolutely HUGEE... I am very conscious about my lips , but now that I've mustered enough confidence in life and learnt to love my body, I am trying bright colors all day everyday. :D This is just what I need to brighten up my days. Morange by Mac Wash and Dry collection 2015.

Since my lips are voluminous, I avoid glossy and satin finish lipsticks. I like Mac thou I am not too crazy about it. Let's say moderately love Mac. But I love Mac matte finish lipsticks like my favourite Diva, please me and brave. This is like the first time that I venture into the world of non matte mac lipsticks. So how does it feel, the texture , coverage etc etc?

Matte lipsticks are definitely more intense in turns of pigment. This is moderately pigmented. You need two layers to have that flawless finish, but I am fine with it. I don't like Mac Satin finish at all (personally). I think i am going no where whenever i use satin finish lipsticks. So this Morange type of old school lipsticks are just great for me.

Long lasting... yes... very. Here is what it looks like after I went a sailing trip to spot dolphins and then again do some extreme eating activities during lunch time. (after 8 busy and physical hours to be exact)

I won't say it looks exactly the same. Of course. But it is still intact, and I can still tell it is Morange by Mac without having to think twice. I don't even have time to look into mirror and assume that my makeup would look like sh*t. So when i saw this picture, i was very pleased with the lipsticks and I kept wearing it almost everyday during my trip. My obsession T_T.


All in all, I think it is worth buying. Just buy one Morange to make your days brighter and better.

It has been forever that I don't care about this blog. So i think I will start blogging seriously, but not today. :P today i will just do a very quick review coz i have to shop in 30 minutes . Life is so hectic. I will try to post better one the rest of the collection that i have :D see you guys.
